Her leg heals, but both hips are now painful. She has a hard time getting
up, and spends most of the day on her dog bed. After all she's been
through, we'll have to have her euthanized, as we can't afford a $2000
surgery. One final picture of Queenie. |

A MIRACLE! One individual donates enough for her surgery!!

|
She's miserable, and the muscles in her hips are degenerated to practically
nothing.
Dr O'Brien of Maze Vet in Modesto recommends doing FHO on both hips, and
generously gives us a discount. She is scheduled for surgery.

Back from surgery, she's remarkably tolerant of the pain.
She's allowed to walk as much as she wants, but requires help at first.
After only 2 days, she's walking across the room on her own.

| At her checkup with Dr. O she gets a good review. Time to start exercising
her with slow walks. She's feeling good enough to play with the other dogs
now. Yeah!! |

Last week she had her last
checkup and was given the ok for unlimited exercise. Now at 8 months
old, she’s finally feeling playful and happy. She’s annoying the adult
dogs, and getting into mischief like youngsters do. |

Queenie is running and playing - tackling the
other dogs and being tackled. She limps occasionally, but doesn't let that
stop her. She's finally ready to start looking for a home. |
